Ray Reynold’s passion for photography was born the minute that he first picked up a camera to “try his hand” at capturing some of the picturesque scenes along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and at Mabry Mill.
Once “hooked” on photography, Ray honed his photographic skills by shooting action shots at AAU basketball games and by providing photography for fund raisers such as “The Race For the Cure” -which was attended by over 10,000 people – as well as establishing and gaining local recognition for “The Jennifer Short Memorial Bike Ride”.
He is also the personal photographer for the Houston Astro’s rookie baseball team in Greeneville Tennessee. One of his most memorable photographs was an eye catching shot of catcher J.R. Towles hitting the tying homerun that helped the Greeneville Astro’s win the 2004 League Championship. The team was so impressed with the shot, that it was mounted on the stadium wall at the entrance of Pioneer Park.
As a wedding photographer, Ray will capture your special day with a series of photos in an “unfolding story” format that will truly commemorate that once-in-a-lifetime day. He also prides himself on his ability to provide his customers with his services in a non-obtrusive way, allowing them to enjoy their every minute of their day.
Ray has spent years as a contributing newspaper sports photographer and has also done numerous photo shoots for the Smith Mountain Laker Magazine including the their holiday issue. Regardless of whether Ray is photographing sports, portraits or weddings, his unmatched and innovative style is unmistakably present in every shot.
